Our garden is open to the public once a year as part of the National Gardens Scheme. This is a scheme whereby private gardens are opened to the public once or twice a year with the entrance fees going to charity. Since its foundation, the National Gardens Scheme has donated over £45 million to nominated beneficiaries, with nearly £23 million in the last ten years alone.
We’re rather proud of being accepted as part of this scheme and work hard to keep up the standard. There is an established vegetable area, 2 ponds (1 for wildlife), a summerhouse and a woodland planted area.
The smaller front garden is available for our B&B guests to relax and enjoy the wildlife, views and tranquility.
